What We Do

The York City Education Association (YCEA):
- Was founded in 1972
- Is an affiliate of the Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA) and National Education Association (NEA)
- Is one of the local associations in PSEA's Southern Region- the largest region in the state
- Represents over 450 professional staff in the School District of the City of York, Pennsylvania
- Is a proud urban local
- Works collectively to create positive environments for learning and teaching while ensuring the rights of its members
- Is committed to children and public education
